The end of the semester

This semester has been an active one for the NUTS team. We've got a new web page, we presented our work at the CubeSat Symposium in Brussels and we have added more members to our team.
We have changed the form our team this spring, by adding students from lower years (not only last year students). By doing this, we will ensure more continuity. One of our biggest problem is that almost the whole team quits in June, because the students are graduating. This can't be changed, but we can try to help the situation by involving the students in the project earlier. So this spring 14 new members joined the NUTS team. They will work with software, hardware, organization and out-reach, mechanical engineering, radio systems and more. This gives good prospects for the next semester!

On the technical side, we are gaining ground with respect to the composite structure, the EPS, antenna system and software system. We are exploring more alternatives on the ADCS-system. Our biggest challenges are probably tied to securing our payload camera and further work on our radio system. We expect these challenges to be ironed out in the time to come, by our new team.

NUTS would like to wish you all a warm summer!
